Ladies and Gentleman, from the fine people who traded Jay Cutler…
Truth is I’d hate to be the Washington Redskins, because this might as well be the god damn super bowl for the Denver Broncos. Remember when Jason Campbell was high on people’s wish lists when we were shopping Cutler this summer? Shows what the hell we know…
Josh McDaniels did know though, he knew that Kyle Orton was good enough to survive in his system and Campbell wasn’t. So what should be revenge tour for Campbell, in which he gets to prove himself against the coach that deemed him not good enough to trade for; will turn into a bloodbath in a must win game for the Broncos.
The Redskins have a killer pass defense, but if you look at the convincing wins the Broncos have had this season (Cleveland, Oakland), they have all had the same recrod as the Redskins.
By the way, amongst winning teams in the NFL, Denver has the toughest strength of schedule (.563, opp. 36-28). Chew on that 6-2… Who is accountable for that? Sure they got rid of Brett Kern and have been 0-2 since, the Tennessee Titans who picked him up have been 2-0 since. Do you really think that it has to do with the punter? Veteran Ben Hamilton will be sitting for the first time since his concussion in favor of Russ Hochstein or as I favor him, The Bear Jew and anyone who has seen Inglourious Basterds knows exactly what’s about to happen.
Let’s go Nation, I’ve been watching both ESPN and NFL Network all morning and haven’t seen a single thing about this game today… I’m loving it!
